To automatically add files to Media Library when played

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. On the Player tab, select the Add music files to Media Library when played check box.
3. If you want items from portable devices or storage cards added to Media Library, select the Include files from removable media and network shares check box.

Notes

• To play a file that is listed in Media Library and stored on removable media, the removable media must be inserted in the drive or the device must be attached to your computer.
• Tracks on CDs are not automatically added to Media Library when played, even if the Add music files to Media Library when played check box is selected.
